Clark Forklift Specifications
Types
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks like pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisle. The different types differ when it comes to the way they run. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle types designed for use in warehouses and other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
Based on the type of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can vary. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are suggested. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks operate on AC battery cells, either 48 volt or 36 volt. The internal combustible engine kinds have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion models have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the seat and the controls. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
